The first report was dismissed as distant thunder. Then the western horizon flashed red, the ground began to shake, and two armies marched into the old battlefield at once.
The quiet point on the map is quiet no longer.
Talus is at war.
Chapter I // The armies arrive
Imperial vanguards have dug into the southern line. Rebel soldiers have answered from the north. Neither side is waiting for a traveler to fire the opening shot: the two forces meet in a live, sustained clash the moment the battlefield awakens.
Every advance is contested. Fallen front-line troops are replaced, elite reinforcements return to the fight, and commanders rally new assaults from behind their lines.
Chapter II // No easy flank
The battle has been built as a true two-sided challenge. Rebel and Imperial lines carry comparable strength, while each faction recognizes friend and enemy according to the banner a combatant serves.
A lone warrior may survive the edges of the fight. Breaking the center and reaching an enemy commander is a task for an organized hunting party.
Chapter III // Spoils from the line
Those who survive the crossfire may recover battlefield supplies, advanced components, armor and weapon finds, and intelligence carried out of the fighting in a Talus Frontline Dispatch.
Defeating a field commander opens the rarest cache: a chance at exceptional weapon schematics taken from the command line itself.
