Vlu Update // 15 September 2026
For generations, the dunes of Tatooine kept their oldest secret beneath a veil of heat and sand.
Hunters knew the tremor of approaching footsteps. Bio-Engineers studied scales, tissue, and blood beneath laboratory light. Creature Handlers watched the horizon and wondered whether even a Krayt Dragon might one day answer a patient voice.
Now, the desert has answered.
A trail through the dunes
Deep among established Krayt hunting grounds, explorers may now encounter young hatchlings capable of forming a lasting bond with a sufficiently skilled Creature Handler.
They remain Krayts: fierce, rare, and born beneath an unforgiving sun. Finding one will demand courage. Earning its trust will demand mastery.
The ancient adults have not been diminished. Their strength, treasures, and place among Tatooine’s greatest dangers remain intact.
Life shaped by science
Where the Creature Handler walks into the wild, the Bio-Engineer begins at the workbench.
Master Bio-Engineers can now create their own Krayt Dragon pets through a new creature schematic. Those who mastered the profession before this discovery will find the knowledge waiting when they next enter the galaxy.
From recovered DNA and careful experimentation comes something once thought impossible: a Krayt born not from the open desert, but from the discipline of Vlu’s finest genetic artisans.
An oath reforged
Crusader Mark II and Mark III armor once remembered the faction for which it had been forged, denying warriors who stood beneath another banner.
That restriction has fallen. Rebels, Imperials, and those who owe allegiance to neither side may equip both generations of Crusader armor.
The change reaches armor already crafted and carried throughout the galaxy—not merely pieces made after this transmission.
Will you return with a trophy, a companion—or the knowledge to create a legend of your own?
