The ancient teachings have been restored and strengthened. Padawans and Journeymen now grow more naturally into the formidable Jedi remembered from the pre-Publish 9 era, while existing Jedi inherit the renewed teachings.
Padawan foundations
The familiar Padawan branches remain intact, but most passive teachings have been strengthened, Force reserves improved, and Force abilities made less exhausting.
Power earned, not worn
The Force Pool and regeneration once tied to the Padawan robe now belong permanently to the Padawan. The robe remains a symbol of achievement, but changing clothing no longer removes power the Jedi has already earned.
Padawan Masters also receive substantially stronger resistance to knockdowns and forced posture changes.
Light and Dark Journeyman
Both Light and Dark Journeyman paths have received the same renewed teachings. Most passive abilities have been strengthened, healing has become more effective, and offensive Force powers are considerably more deadly in PvE.
Mind Blast II remains part of Journeyman Novice training, but now carries the power expected from an experienced Jedi.
Force Power
Journeyman combat
One-Hand Flurry II has become a devastating crowd attack, striking enemies around the Jedi while inflicting Blind, Dizzy, Stun, and Intimidate. Force Intimidate I now reaches hostile opponents surrounding the Jedi while continuing to respect normal combat and state defenses.
Client and server update
The launcher will deliver the updated Jedi skill tables. These changes preserve the recognizable pre-9 profession while making every step from newly awakened Padawan to accomplished Journeyman feel powerful, meaningful, and worthy of the Force.
