Iron Oaths, Quiet Fortunes

The quartermaster laid a battered communicator on the counter. On Endor, it carried orders spoken in the language of armor and earned honor. On Yavin IV, it carried an offer from Black Sun: move the cargo, keep your word, and become someone worth knowing. Beyond both camps, a stranger signal whispered through the dark.

This dispatch covers the new membership packages and the recent galaxy updates since Beneath the Stones of Yavin.

Death Watch: an oath earns its weight

The bunker recognizes its own, but a recruit must still earn a place in the armory. Visit the Death Watch recruiters outside the bunker on Endor, open their clan services, and purchase a Death Watch Field Communicator.

  • Three solo contracts send members after a forest beast, a rival executioner, and an enemy outpost.
  • Three group operations call for covering a boarding team at a landed transport, assaulting a stronghold, and defending a vulnerable supply loader. Group operations require two to eight nearby, enrolled members.
  • Successful operations award 125,000–300,000 credits, 25–60 Honor, one or two war trophies, and 250 Death Watch standing. Paid completions are limited to four per character per UTC day, with a ten-minute recharge and a thirty-minute operation deadline.
  • Death, logout, a server restart, or leaving the clan cancels the operation. These are outdoor field missions, not new indoor instances; the transport objective is a boarding-team cover mission.

What the quartermaster keeps

Behind the counter lay a Breacher carbine, armor marked for veterans, and a jetpack reserved for a champion. Credits alone would not buy every prize.

  • The ranked armory offers a Death Watch Breacher Carbine, a full ten-piece Heavy veteran armor set with 75% resistance across all damage types, a Champion's Jetpack Deed, and clan decorations.
  • Higher-tier equipment requires earned rank, credits and war trophies. Each armory item has a one-per-character weekly purchase limit.
  • War trophies are non-tradable earned balances, redeemable for equipment, decorations and the Veteran armor-color service. The color service offers eight presets on supported, owned clan armor; unequip the piece first.
  • The existing million-credit Mandalorian crafting-input shop remains available. Membership still opens the bunker's access gates, but does not remove crafting requirements or workshop hazards.

Stand your ground

When the line buckled, the Warrior planted both boots and refused to yield. A second fighter stepped out of the trees beside him.

  • At Warrior rank, the communicator unlocks Stand Your Ground: fifteen seconds of +25 defense and +40 knockdown resistance, with movement speed halved. Recharge: three minutes. This is resistance, not immunity.
  • A temporary Death Watch Warrior can support legal fights against NPCs for two minutes. It cannot attack players or their pets.
  • Death Watch and Black Sun support share a thirty-minute recharge; belonging to both does not provide simultaneous reinforcements.
  • Active Death Watch members receive 25% less ordinary armor condition wear from combat, including on existing armor. This does not change personal shield generators or death-related wear.

A place to recover, a name to carry

Inside the bunker's medical room, the clan quartermaster waits beside weapon and clothing crafting stations. Between battles, a member can return with damaged armor, fresh wounds and a little more honor.

  • Out-of-combat medical treatment costs 10,000 credits, restores HAM damage, wounds and battle fatigue, and has a ten-minute recharge.
  • Earn the ranks Initiate, Warrior, Veteran and Champion at 0, 100, 400 and 1,000 Honor.
  • Earned rank titles remain selectable after leaving the clan; its gameplay services require active membership.
  • The named Champion jetpack uses the familiar model with reduced condition wear. Reward equipment uses existing models and animations, not new visual skins.

Black Sun: the quiet road to influence

At the Mining Outpost on Yavin IV, the recruiter offered a different sort of advancement. No parade, no shouted oath—only a communicator, a sealed assignment, and the promise of a better introduction.

  • Open Syndicate Services and purchase the Black Sun Field Communicator to begin delivery, intelligence, backup and Dirty Tricks activities.
  • Three smuggling routes cross Yavin IV, Tatooine and Corellia. A contract requires a 25,000-credit bond and pays 150,000 credits plus the returned bond on successful delivery, with 25 merit and 250 Black Sun standing.
  • There are four attempts per character per UTC day, a thirty-minute deadline, a minimum three-minute delivery time and a ten-minute recharge. Death, cancellation, expiry or leaving Black Sun forfeits the bond. Rivals may intercept a shipment.
  • Concealed outdoor lounges on all three worlds provide quartermaster services. Travel between contacts costs 10,000 credits with a ten-minute recharge, and is unavailable during combat, while mounted or while carrying contract cargo. These lounges are not invulnerability zones.

Information has a price

The contact never promised that the crate would be easy to reach. Only that, for the right payment, its location would become yours.

  • Buy one intelligence lead per character per UTC day for 1,000 Black Sun faction points. Reach its personal waypoint within twenty minutes and recover the shipment out of combat to earn a rare component and ten merit.
  • A ranked black market offers the Black Sun Silencer, a Medium operative chestplate with 70% resistance across all damage types, executive decorations and a Courier Swoop Deed.
  • Rare armor-crafting components rotate through the market daily. Rank and weekly purchase limits apply; the named Courier Swoop retains its familiar appearance and movement with reduced condition wear.
  • Earn at least 100 activity merit during a Monday–Sunday UTC week to claim a 500,000-credit dividend once during the following week. Simply logging in does not earn the payment.

A favor in the middle of a fight

The Operative smiled as the opposing gunner's aim faltered. Somewhere behind the crates, an enforcer was already moving into position.

  • At Operative rank, Dirty Tricks reduces a legal target's accuracy by 25 for eight seconds, within sixteen metres and line of sight. Recharge: ninety seconds; targets receive thirty seconds of protection against another application. Normal combat permissions still apply.
  • Criminal Backup calls a linked enforcer for two minutes of legal NPC combat support. It does not attack players or pets and shares its thirty-minute recharge with Death Watch support.
  • Advance through Associate, Operative, Lieutenant and Vigo's Right Hand at 0, 100, 400 and 1,000 lifetime merit. Earned titles stay available after resignation.
  • Death Watch and Black Sun remain separate memberships alongside Imperial, Rebel or neutral allegiance. You may belong to both. Economic limits are per character, and buying or using membership services requires the appropriate membership and rank.

The Hollow Signal

A Festival Steward by the Mos Eisley starport held out four recordings. One carried sand, one silk, one the sound of trees. The last seemed to listen back.

The seasonal Hollow Signal is active through 1 November 2026 at 05:00 UTC. Meet a Festival Steward in Mos Eisley on Tatooine or Moenia on Naboo. The Mos Eisley Steward now stands near 3521, -4820; the former welcome Vader is no longer at that spot.

Follow four outdoor encounters across Tatooine, Dathomir, Endor and Yavin IV: The Silent Caravan, The Whispering Web, The Hollow Grove and The Last Transmission. Expect phased reinforcements and warned attacks. Earn event rewards including decorative spider webs, a Harvest Watcher and the finale-gated Echo Keeper's Skull. Reward limits apply; existing dungeons and regular bosses remain in place.

Dragons, motors and unfinished weapons

On Tatooine, the terminal displayed two contracts that a sensible hunter would read twice. Far away, a weaponsmith turned a newly recovered Meatlump motor over in his hands and began recalculating his next design.

  • Tatooine general mission terminals now offer optional Adolescent Krayt Dragon Hunt and Ancient Krayt Dragon Hunt targets: level-336 dragons, each with a 300,000-credit mission reward.
  • Those hunts use the corresponding Graveyard creatures and their existing rare-tissue loot group. Rare tissue is possible, not guaranteed. The previous canyon Krayt contract remains available.
  • New Meatlump Vibro Motors roll their maximum-damage component statistic across 55,000–78,000. Existing saved rolls are not rerolled, and normal slicing or powerups may raise a finished weapon beyond its unsliced value. This range is not a promise that every finished weapon has the same full damage range.
  • Recent player-bounty and Jedi-visibility eligibility fixes preserve normal funding, self-targeting, same-account and duel safeguards.

Names return to the workbench

The crate no longer held an object known only as “Exceptional.” Its label finally told the craftsperson what had been won.

  • Another 410 item and draft labels were repaired, including weapon components that could display only a quality suffix and 34 loaded crafting drafts. Existing item statistics, recipe ingredients and appearances are unchanged.
  • Nine missing crafting registrations were restored: six unstable lightsabers, the STAP, the Massassi sword and the Kun Massassi two-handed sword.
  • This is a repair of the audited active items and recipes, not a claim that every unused legacy template has been repaired. Please report any remaining unnamed item or unusable schematic.

Visitors at the starport

A shuttle settled into Coronet. Luke and Leia stepped down to meet the crowd. In Bestine, a different arrival silenced the square: Lord Vader had come to call.

Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa now make scheduled ceremonial visits to Coronet near -148, -4715; Darth Vader visits Bestine near -1282, -3584. Visits last about ten minutes, with a two-hour repeat after departure and cleanup. The visitors are non-attackable and do not replace quests or grant new rewards. Bestine's Vader visit is separate from the removed Mos Eisley welcome NPC.

One launcher, the next journey

The current launcher brings the allied-display integration into the normal launch path and fixes the repeated one-file update loop. Players no longer need the experimental standalone allied-display launch route when using the current launcher.

Close the game, open the current launcher and run Scan/Update before reconnecting. The new faction rank titles and ability descriptions need the matching client update. Existing older launchers with broken self-updaters may still need the current installer from the download page.

The packages are deployed and technical checks passed. Please help confirm the in-game menus, title choices, armor palettes, companion behavior and mission rewards. Earlier dungeon, squad, carbine, badge and pet repairs remain documented in the previous field report and Hidden Trails, Familiar Companions.
