Beneath the Stones of Yavin

The jungle fell silent around the old temple. A carbine cracked through the mist, a squad leader called the formation together, and the first expedition descended beneath the stones. Something ancient had begun to answer.

The temple wakes

Exar Kun's temple on Yavin IV now holds twenty-eight enemies: dark-side wielders, crypt crawlers, crystal hunters and crystal protectors. These temple defenders are level 350, wear Heavy armor, and strike with tenfold damage over their former templates, with a minimum attack range of 10,000–20,000 before combat calculations.

Crystals, holocrons, broken lightsaber hilts, relics, goggles, crafting rewards and other rare finds await among the ruins. Hunters return after fifteen minutes; the protectors return after thirty.

A second door beneath the ruins

Outside the temple, the catacomb entrance terminal at approximately 5025, 5574 on Yavin IV opens a separate group expedition. The public temple and the catacombs are both available; neither replaces the other.

A group of up to ten has one hour to overcome five successive bosses, culminating in Exar Kun himself. Each member enters using the outside terminal. Only one expedition occupies the catacombs at a time. An exit terminal offers a way back, abandoned runs reset, and victory leaves two minutes to collect the spoils.

The catacombs retain their distinct boss encounters, reinforcements and rewards. Their enemies keep their own boss statistics; the level-350 adjustment applies to the public temple. Some restored reward items use familiar classic visuals.

The formation holds

Above ground, the squad leader's voice cut through the fighting. Form Up can now be used while dizzy, allowing its recovery effect to work, and Retreat includes the leader instead of skipping the first group member. Group eligibility handling has also been corrected.

For players, Rally now lasts five minutes and grants +50 melee defense and +50 ranged defense while retaining its accuracy benefit. Its old restrictive state no longer blocks ordinary activities such as boarding a shuttle. Steady Aim also lasts five minutes and is no longer consumed by the first attack. Normal combat and travel restrictions still apply.

Black armor, familiar reports

Storm Commandos now appear in black scout trooper armor across their encounter variants. Their weapons, statistics and rewards are unchanged.

Elite Carbines and Laser Carbines receive a repaired firing-sound binding using the familiar E-11 report, while retaining their models, projectiles, impact effects and combat statistics. Close the game and run Launcher Scan/Update before returning to hear the repaired sound and see the restored dungeon assets.

Names carried home

Recent repairs also restore the three Celebrity Killer badge entries for Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade. The readable Celebrity Killer title remains available to select after earning a qualifying badge; taking it off does not discard it. Badges still require their associated victories, rather than being granted to everyone.

The Bio-Engineer Blackwing Rancor's missing pet-control binding has been repaired, alongside the earlier correction to Creature Handler control counting. Normal pet limits still apply.

Catch up on camouflage, companion control, the Annihilator stance and launcher repair in Hidden Trails, Familiar Companions. Separate member-player overhead faction emblems and automatic launcher integration of their experimental display are not included in this release.
