The Frontier Answers Back

The departure boards have changed. Beyond the familiar routes lies Taanab—and the quiet of its countryside is no promise of safety.

New routes across the stars

Welcome to Taanab

Freighters are calling at Pandath and Starhunter Station. Taanab is now open, with travel links in both directions, settlements to explore, and a countryside threaded with farms, mineworks, roaming herds, a downed ship and a raider-held cave.

For surveyors and harvesters, the new world brings 45 planet-specific resource types. For hunters, it brings a warning: the animals beyond the landing grounds are no easy quarry. The planet's wildlife templates range from level 150 to 200, with substantially increased HAM and damage.

Trainers, vendors and other service NPCs keep their ordinary roles. The danger belongs to the frontier; the people helping you prepare for it have not been turned into bosses.

The workshop lights burn late

Names return to the workbench

Master Bio-Engineers already received 120 additional creature schematics, bringing the catalogue to 190 recipes. The latest repair restores the new recipes' names and missing client references, addressing the unknown-schematic and missing-prototype errors that interrupted their work.

The earlier login fault associated with one of the new creature recipes has also been repaired. Krayt Dragons remain part of the expanded craftable bestiary, alongside their DNA-sampling and taming opportunities. Update your game files before returning to the crafting station.

Dispatches from the firing line

Crusader steel, familiar thunder

Five Crusader weapons now carry Heavy armor piercing, including weapons already owned. The Crusader Heavy Rifle's firing audio has been restored, and the DC-15 Carbine now uses the familiar report of the E-11 Carbine. The latest launcher update carries both audio repairs.

The original Imperial Encampment landmark on Rori has received faction-base capture objectives and a faction garrison. The familiar landmark is now part of the struggle for control, rather than merely a place to pass on the road.

Recent dispatches, carried forward

The galaxy beyond the new frontier

The recent reinforcements have not stopped at Taanab. Dungeon defenders have grown tougher, and twenty families of exceptional dungeon loot can appear alongside established and guaranteed rewards. The expanded melee and ranged crafting catalogue has received its missing recipes and weapon-appearance files.

The MagnaGuard Electrostaff carries Heavy armor piercing, including existing staffs. Player-owned creatures and droids deal ten times their former damage in both PvE and PvP. Melee PvP damage has been strengthened, while Spray Shot, Eye Shot, Bleeding Shot, Confusion Shot and Torso Shot apply their intended effects with exceptional PvP reliability. Immunities and recovery protections still matter.

Read The Menagerie Awakens for the preceding chapter of these changes.

Before boarding

Close the game and run Scan/Update.

Taanab's world files, the crafting repairs and restored weapon sounds require the latest launcher files. Please report any travel, cave-collision, appearance or audio problems you encounter through Discord.
