Patch notes · October 1, 2026 · Changes deployed September 29–October 1
GCW Campaign, Hoth, Rewards and Repairs
These notes list deployed changes. They replace the story format for current updates; older reports remain in the archive.
GCW purchases and delivery fixes
- Fixed purchases, permanent upgrade redemption, support claims and guild contributions that were being rejected.
- Use GCW Currency Requisitions at the Imperial or Rebel recruiter matching your allegiance. Payment uses GCW currency, not credits or faction standing.
- Purchases require confirmation. Paid items blocked by a full inventory can be recovered from the same menu without paying again.
- The inventory catalogue now contains 34 registered recipes; faction banners are restricted to their matching faction.
- Basic requisitions: Binary Liquid—12,000; Command Console—15,000; Tactical Map Table—25,000; Equipment Tool Chest—8,000; faction banner—15,000 GCW currency.
- Nine medical supplies cost 8,000 each and have 50 uses: Field Trauma, Poison Treatment, Disease Treatment, and Health, Action, Strength, Constitution, Quickness and Stamina Wound Kits.
Permanent upgrades and progression
Prices below are per tier in GCW currency. Each upgrade supports three permanent tiers.
| Upgrade | Effect | Normal price | Rank-unlocked price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weapon Calibration | +10% weapon damage per tier; +30% maximum. | 75,000 | 50,000 at campaign or guild rank 1 |
| Armor Reinforcement | +2 percentage points per tier to protected damage types; +6 maximum, capped at 90%. Vulnerabilities remain. | 100,000 | 75,000 at rank 2 |
| Walker Hull Plating | +250,000 maximum hull per tier; maximum 1,750,000. Preserves the existing damage fraction rather than repairing the walker. | 150,000 | 100,000 at rank 3 |
| Walker Cannon Cooling | Reduces the cannon cycle by 0.3 seconds per tier, down to 2.1 seconds. | 150,000 | 100,000 at rank 3 |
- Select owned, unequipped inventory equipment for weapon or armor upgrades. Call and dismount your walker near the recruiter before redeeming walker upgrades.
- Cancelled or unsuccessful redemption remains recoverable without another payment.
- Opposing-player PvP victories contribute to personal, per-faction campaign progression, with account-based repeat-reward restrictions and a daily cap.
- Guild members can contribute 10,000 or 100,000 GCW currency to permanent faction-specific guild projects. Contributions cannot be withdrawn.
- Campaign and guild ranks unlock the discounted upgrade options shown above. Recruiter status displays progression and eligibility.
Veteran armor and field support
- Added Standard, Elite and Legendary Heavy breastplates in Assault, Defender and Field Medic variants: nine new armor choices.
- Standard costs 50,000, has 80% base resistance to all damage types and +10 role skill modifiers. Elite costs 100,000, has 85% and +20. Legendary costs 150,000, has 90% and +30.
- Resistances include stun and lightsabers. Each breastplate has 100 Health, Action and Mind encumbrance. These purchases create new armor; they do not upgrade an existing piece.
- Assault improves weapon accuracy; Defender improves melee/ranged defense, dodge, block and counterattack; Field Medic improves treatment and treatment speed.
- Healing Station Controller: 25,000 currency; each use restores up to 3,000 Health, Action and Mind.
- Resupply Station Controller: 20,000 currency; each use provides a 10-use, 1,000-power first-aid kit.
- Both stations have 100,000 structure health, 30 shared charges and a 20-minute lifetime. Faction allies can use them once per minute; deployment cooldown is one hour.
- Stations deploy outdoors, outside cities and buildings, subject to safe-placement checks. Eligible enemies can attack them. Stations expire on restart and consumed controllers are not refunded.
Talus campaign and navigation
- Added four capturable sites near the Talus battlefield: forward camp (approximately −2450, 3410), communications (−2750, 3760), shield (−2450, 4110) and supply depot (−2100, 3760).
- Recruiter and campaign-console menus can add or refresh four persistent datapad waypoints at the actual console positions. Unrelated waypoints are preserved.
- Overt Imperial and Rebel players can enlist at a console. Stay within 25 metres and renew capture orders every minute.
- Uncontested capture takes 180 seconds solo, decreasing by 30 seconds per additional participating account to a minimum of 60 seconds.
- Living overt enemies contest capture even if they have not enlisted or are mounted. Covert or dead opponents do not contest. Multiple characters on one account do not accelerate capture.
- Combat-defense credit is limited to once per objective per ten minutes. Communications ownership reveals active courier coordinates through campaign status.
Couriers, faction contracts and seasonal finale
- Participating factions can dispatch one armored courier each every 30 minutes. Couriers are level 300 with 500,000 HAM and Heavy armor.
- Escort for at least 60 seconds and reach the depot, or defeat an enemy courier with qualifying damage/healing participation. Couriers expire after 20 minutes; unfinished couriers are cancelled on restart.
- Successful deliveries build up to three camp supply charges. An owned camp can spend one charge to recover 5,000 in each HAM pool, once per account per ten minutes.
- Black Sun members can carry supplies or steal enemy communications intelligence. Death Watch members can hunt an enemy courier or capture an enemy shield.
- Contracts expire after 20 minutes and have a one-hour acceptance cooldown. Independent membership does not permit attacking your own GCW faction.
- A sufficiently trailing faction receives a 50% bonus for ambush, combat-defense and sabotage awards. The leading faction does not lose existing currency.
- Campaign seasons last 28 days. During the final two hours, holding communications, shield and depot unlocks an opposing level-350 siege marshal with 3,000,000 HAM, Heavy armor and 18,000–28,000 base damage.
- Only one successful finale occurs per season. Qualifying damage dealers and healers receive finale participation credit, unlocking the War Table requirement.
- Each awarded campaign point also gives 50 GCW currency. Campaign-event awards are capped at 2,000 points per account per day. Switching sides imposes a 24-hour campaign reward lock; initial enlistment does not.
- Seasonal standings reset, but career points, earned items, purchases, guild projects and permanent upgrades remain.
Eight campaign rewards
Earned-point requirements are unlock thresholds, not points spent. Prices use GCW currency. Listed weapon damage is base damage, before skills and target defenses.
| Reward | Earned points | Price | Stats or requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Talus Veteran's Command Display | 1,000 | 25,000 | Permanent home or guild-hall display. |
| Siegebreaker Campaign Rifle | 5,000 | 250,000 | Energy, 10,000–22,000 damage, speed 1.5, Heavy armor piercing; T-21 certification. |
| Last Light Campaign Pistol | 5,000 | 250,000 | Kinetic, 8,000–18,000 damage, speed 1.0, Heavy armor piercing; DL-44 certification. |
| Stormwarden Campaign Staff | 5,000 | 250,000 | Electricity, 10,000–24,000 damage, speed 1.5, Heavy armor piercing; normal staff certification. |
| Marshal of Talus Battleplate | 10,000 | 350,000 | +40 melee/ranged defense and +30 dodge. |
| Pathfinder of Talus Battleplate | 10,000 | 350,000 | +40 rifle, pistol and carbine accuracy. |
| Lifeline of Talus Battleplate | 10,000 | 350,000 | +40 injury/wound treatment and +30 injury treatment speed. |
| Talus Campaign Victor's War Table | 15,000 | 100,000 | Also requires victorious finale participation; permanent decoration. |
All three battleplates are Heavy, with 90% base resistance to all nine damage types, 75 encumbrance in each HAM pool and 100,000 condition. All three weapons also have 100,000 condition. These rewards use existing appearances and sounds.
Hoth
- Restored the outpost, native travel services and four ice caves.
- Added five points of interest with discoverable exploration badges visible in the character sheet.
- Added Hoth's custom galaxy-map and datapad icon, planetary map and planet label.
- Added level-350 Wampa, Tauntaun and Smuggler wilderness variants in a dedicated 12-pack encounter area. Existing Hutt and rare encounters remain.
- Preserved existing building restrictions and other planets. This update does not add a complete Echo Base dungeon.
Faction rewards, armor paint and houses
- Added ten Black Sun Bounty Hunter armor pieces to the existing market: Heavy armor with 80% resistances.
- Added four Death Watch member-communicator paint presets matching Bloodguard, Wraith, Ghost and Overlord NPC schemes for supported Mandalorian armor.
- Added four Black Sun paint presets matching Thug, Henchman, Guard and Assassin schemes for supported Black Sun Bounty Hunter armor. No unsupported belt paint is included.
- Painting requires supported, unequipped pieces and preserves their identity, statistics and condition.
- Repaired YT-1300 and Nightsister-style hut deed placement registration and supplied missing hut assets. Existing deeds, lot costs and normal placement restrictions remain.
- Repaired ten Bounty Hunter schematic names, including affected existing quality-only names.
Mission, loot, weapon and walker repairs
- Hollow Signal waypoints persist across relogs and distinguish active from recovering sites. Silent Caravan guards use a wider validated search area.
- New general and faction outdoor destroy/recon missions use farther placement rules with a 750-metre minimum. Previously issued nearby missions remain valid; in-town delivery, crafting and performance destinations are unchanged.
- Repaired general destroy-mission groups on Nal Hutta, Mandalore and Taanab; audited Chandrila's groups. High-level Krayt contracts remain ordinary lair missions.
- Enabled five previously missing clothing-attachment modifiers in existing loot: Force Armor, Light Force Control, Dark Force Control, Light Force Manipulation and Dark Force Manipulation.
- Repaired the WESTAR's missing projectile asset.
- Updated walker gait/audio assets. All 13 rideable walker identities now move at 2 metres per second; other speeder speeds are unchanged. Existing cannon and PvP behavior is preserved.
Updating and verification
Close the game and run the current launcher's Scan/Update if you have not downloaded the Hoth, housing, naming and weapon assets. The October 1 campaign update itself requires no additional client download or new launcher installation.
Deployment, startup and automated checks passed. Two-player campaign navigation, capture contention, courier pathing and reward interactions still need in-game confirmation. Please report remaining problems; deployment checks are not a claim that every player interaction has been visually tested.
